F-F-Friday (31)

January 30, 2009

This photo is from June.  I wanted to go to the grocery store (the one that prohibits photos) and take a photo in their floral shop today, but I didn’t get around to it.  I did, however, spend two hours in Barnes and Noble playing with my children at the train table and reading books.  Didn’t see any flowers there.

What? Are you kidding me? They don’t allow photos in the grocery store? Are you near the Pentagon and top secret stuff is going on in there? That’s just crazy. I try not to stir the pot, but I think I would be forced to take some photos every time I went and just tell them I forgot about THEIR SILLY RULE! Maybe you could tell them that English is your second language, so you need to catch the products and signs to study at home and call them prejudiced. I actually snap photos of labels in the stores here for just that purpose.

I think it’s a national security thing, but I’ve never asked. There is a sign by the entrance that says photography is prohibited and that sign doesn’t state the reason. I think the floral shop within the grocery store would be a reasonable exception, though.

I still feel my nation would be safe if someone took a photo of your groceries. 😉
