More November Black and White

November in Black and White

Natural things with lots of texture work well in black and white, so I went for photos of dried-out logs in the woodpile and dried-out ornamental grass being blown by the wind.  These two were taken at my parents’ house on Sunday.  I was trying to convey how dry the air feels in November.  We’ve turned on our humidifier to prevent dry noses and dry skin.  Have you?

Maya is hosting this exchange of black and white photographs at Springtree Road.  There are many more to see all month long!
