F-F-Friday (11)

September 12, 2008

These are photos of dahlias in my parents’ garden.  I was at their house with my mother-in-law and my children on Sunday.  Besides these purple and white ones, my dad is also growing orange, red and yellow ones.

Have a glorious Fucking Floral Friday.  Thanks for being patient with me these weeks when I haven’t been able to blog much or respond to comments.

What lovely flowers! I’ve never grown dahlias, but I think I may attempt them next summer as those are pretty fantastic. Thanks, Dad!

Thank you, Chris. We are having fun.

Randomability, thanks. Your roses are nice.

Organic Mama, for some odd reason your comment was in spam, but it’s really good to hear from you again! Dahlias are so neat because you dig up the bulbs and save them from year to year. My dad really likes them, and they seem to grow well here. I’ll pass along your comment to him.

I’m still with you! Those dahlias are luscious. Beautiful photos!

I go through months where I find it very difficult to find time to blog. I’ve been averaging about 3 posts a week for the past six months now, and I don’t think I’ve written a quality corner post in ages. I just don’t have the time. The one thing I’ve discovered is that everyone has stayed with me and drop by every now and then to let me know they’re still around.

Thanks Carrie! I’m still reading your blog too! I can’t believe how quickly the time goes by. Sometimes I forget to visit the bloggers who aren’t on wordpress, but then I go try to catch up on all the posts.
