Oh, the humanities!

This is the most creative and hilarious endorsement yet! Stephen Colbert, of The Colbert Report, says,

“That kind of crazy, you wash down. But it sticks. It sticks right there.”

“Oh, the humanities! Oh, the humanities!”

“I know what you’re saying, folks. It would be funny if it just weren’t so sad.”

The CNN debate was awful. I’m glad Colbert turned it into something positive. I get tears in my eyes this clip makes me laugh so hard.

Not only the debate, but the coverage immediately following it was awful. Anderson Cooper & pals didn’t even mention Ron Paul’s name!

But there is this post-debate interview.

    Thanks for your comment, Rey.

Stephen Colbert is a genius. I saw this when it aired but was more than happy to watch it again – thanks.

    Colbert/Stewart 08!

Awesome, Sarah. I’m glad you liked the clip.

Gosh, I must’ve missed that post-debate interview. I just remember the roundtable discussion with Anderson Cooper, how they mentioned Romney, McCain, and even Huckabee. Then they did a bar graph analysis of things they said … omitting any analysis of Paul. Thanks for pointing out the video!

The only reason I didn’t miss it is because I follow the Daily Dose blog and someone put the link in a comment when we were all bitching about Anderson’s arrogance and lack of moderator skills. 🙂 Glad I could help you find it, too.

I love it! my hubby told me about this clip but I had yet to see it. Anderson Cooper made me sooo angry in that stupid cnn debate… I could’ve punched him in the face!!!! But anyway kudos to Dr. Paul for putting in a good word when he had the chance. Thanks for posting the clip!
