Ribbit Ribbit

December 18, 2007

. . .

. . .

They’re actually getting along! I’m so amazed that they took time out of their busy day to play with each other. My son is really into animals and their sounds. This video, Here come the Teletubbies, used to be my daughter’s favorite too, but now she pretends she’s too grown-up for it.

    Ring around the Rosies…
    A Pocket full of Posies…
    Ashes, Ashes
    We all fall down!!

The kids do have their moments of getting along, just before one rips whatever toy they other has that they want at that moment, just because.

If I challenged them to scratch each other and pull each other’s hair for a chance at being on YouTube, they would do it. I prefer to just record the good moments, though.

When you post videos on Youtube, is there an option to make it private?

  4. December 20, 2007 2:46 pm

Yes, but if you make it private you won’t be able to embed it on your blog. There are lots of options, you can disable embedding, disable star ratings, disable comments, whatever you want.

Although I’ve not made a private video, this is how I think it works: If you make the video private you can share the link with 25 people (probably with other registered YouTube users that you give access to) and then it can’t be reposted anywhere else on the web.

FW, very adorable. Thanks for sharing your family. It makes me remember when my two were this age. You have to keep a couple of things in mind you know. They grow up fast, and we only have one go-around. As a matter-of-fact, we all have ONLY ONE go-around so it make the best you possibly can, as I’m sure you already do.

Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Seasons Greetings, and all that jazz!

    Your friend, Hawk!

Meant to write above ” . . . we all have ONLY ONE go-around so make it the best you possibly can . . .”

Too much eggnog and spirits! Ho Ho Ho!

Hawk, you must have had so much eggnog that you corrected something that didn’t need to be corrected. I can’t tell the difference between your first comment and what you say you meant to write. 😯 What is wrong with my eyes? 😆 Happy Holidays to you too, friend!

FW, just stopped by to give a Ho Ho Ho!

I wanted to let you know I responded to your reply over at the nest on “For Inquiring Minds…” but I erroneously deleted it when I wish editing comments. To be truthful, I can’t remember what I wrote, LOL! Too much spirits I guess. There is a lesson to be learned…and that is…don’t drink spiked eggnog and follow it up with Crown Royal and a good cigar while trying to blog. Please accept my apology.

I will say, I addressed more of the religious segment on the vid than I did about the piece on the WTC, because of my rather protracted response to Colin (which will not find favor with the majority opinion).

I’ll get around to responding when I can remember what in the Sam Hill I said. In any event, I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you my friend – that is if you do celebrate this holiday. If you don’t, I’ll just say Happy Holidays so I have my bases covered.

May this time of year fill your heart with the warmth of friends and family.

    We’ll see you soon!

Thanks, Hawk. I read it, then couldn’t find it and wondered what happened. Now I see that the comment that you wrote in response to mine is back. I’m glad you could find it, or reconstruct it. 🙂

I think it was something entirely different than my first response. Blogging and drinking. Drinking and blogging, not a good mixer!
