Bathtime Photo

December 17, 2007

During bathtime, I was playing around with some creative shots, trying to be “artsy.” LOL! Here is my little mermaid:

How fun!! Neither of my kids will lay down in the tub.

I think you definitely have an eye for a good photo shot and she is the perfect model!

    🙂 Thanks!

Accountable, my children respond well to the threat—if you don’t prove to me that you can lie down in the tub and not whine if drops of water get on your face we are not going to take swim lessons or go to the pool for fun. My son actually dumps cups full of water on his head and laughs about it. I always offer a towel on the rare occasion that they get upset, but I don’t want them to be whiny in the water, you know?

What a super shot. She is absolutely beautiful.

I heard something many years ago said by someone who compared raising children to that of growing flowers in the garden. The care of these beautiful flowers (children), requires much attention, nurturing and love. The greatest challenge is keeping the weeds away.

Just thought I would share this with you since it’s something I think about all the time with my own children.

    Peace…

I agree with that comparison, Hawk. Thanks for sharing that thought! Someday I’d like to know more about your family. Do you ever write about them on your blog? There are probably a lot of archived posts that I haven’t read yet.

FW, I rarely mention my children. A side that I must keep private and somewhat hidden.

This is a beautiful picture and the little girl seems like she is enjoying herself. Unfortunately my twins do not stand still long enough in the bathtub for me to take any kind of picture!
