F-F-Friday (15)
2008 October 10
These are photos of flowers growing near the edge of the playground at my daughter’s preschool. The orange ones are marigolds, and the white and purple ones are cosmos. Happy Fucking Floral Friday, everyone!

F-F-Fridays, which originated with Saintseester, are a weekly opportunity to share photos of flowers.

Ooh, the marigold photo is beautiful! The moth is placed just so
I didn’t even see the moth the first time through. I’m wondering if the kids will grow marigolds for Mother’s day. Time will tell.
Cosmos are one of my favorite flowers
Thanks, Amy. My daughter loves those moths and always tries to catch them when she’s on the playground.
Randomability, I wish the moth were in focus. Maybe that’s why you didn’t notice it at first.
Kristin, they are really nice. I got some closer shots of individual flowers that I may post later on.
“Cosmoses” (that’s what my 3yo calls them!) are really wonderful and one of the few flowers that really thrive where we live. The are going crazy in our yard right now, and it’s nice to have flowers blooming during the drippy gray autumn. Abby loves to cut them for little bouquets.
Rebecca, it’s so good to hear from you again. It is uplifting to be surrounded by such pretty flowers. I’m glad your family is enjoying them!
I see cosmos all over the place in Taiwan and I’ve always wondered what they are. Thank you! I love these little guys.
Oh wow. How nice that they grow in Taiwan too. Thanks for commenting, Carrie.
